How Accurate Is an Online Touchscreen Test?
The page uses browser Pointer Events and shows the coordinates and contact data exposed to a webpage. This makes it useful for identifying repeatable missed areas, tracking interruptions and multi-touch limitations.
Results still depend on the browser, operating system, screen scaling, device firmware, protector, moisture, finger condition and any touch filtering applied before the browser receives the input.
What This Test Cannot Diagnose
It cannot inspect the digitiser, display cable, controller electronics, firmware or physical panel damage. It also cannot calibrate the touchscreen or measure laboratory-grade latency.
Pressure and contact dimensions are optional browser values. A zero, one or fixed reading does not automatically mean that the touchscreen is faulty.

A responsive display should register each contact close to the correct position and produce a continuous trail while a finger moves.
Repeated missed squares or broken movement in the same area may indicate a digitiser, screen-protector, software or calibration problem.
