Key rollover describes how many simultaneous key presses a keyboard can correctly report. The exact supported combinations can vary across different parts of the keyboard.
What does 6-key rollover mean?
6-key rollover generally means a keyboard is designed to report up to six ordinary keys pressed at once, often alongside modifier keys. Actual behaviour can still depend on the keyboard and connection.
What is NKRO?
NKRO means n-key rollover. It describes keyboards designed to report many simultaneous key presses without the usual low rollover limit, although a browser test cannot certify every possible combination.
Can this test prove my keyboard has NKRO?
No. A browser test can show the combinations you actually try, but proving full n-key rollover would require testing a much larger set of combinations and can also be affected by the operating system or browser.
Why does a held key not light up?
