Find the Right Device Test

Choose a test by the symptom you want to investigate. Each test explains what the browser can observe and which results need your own inspection.

Understand what the browser measures

Keyboard and mouse tests display input events received by the browser. Event timing is affected by scheduling, display cadence, event coalescing and privacy-related timer precision. It is not guaranteed to equal a hardware polling rate or end-to-end latency.

Camera tests report the video stream negotiated with the browser and frames delivered to playback. Those values can differ from a camera sensor's advertised limits. Display motion patterns require visual inspection; a webpage cannot measure physical pixel response in milliseconds.

Audio meters describe the browser's digital signal after input processing. They are not calibrated sound pressure meters. Controller stick measurements include whatever filtering and deadzones the driver and browser apply.

Phone checklists cover accessible hardware and manual observations. Battery health, charging circuitry, account locks, biometrics and cellular reliability require separate system checks or physical inspection.

Privacy when testing

Camera and microphone tests request access only after you start them, process the media in the browser and stop streams when closed. The public IP tool makes requests to external IP services; read its disclosure before using optional network checks. Results you copy may include device or network information, so review them before sharing.
